The Sheriff’s Office encourages our community and our personnel to question any conduct that seems unjust or unnecessary and to file a complaint when they feel they have experienced law enforcement misconduct.
As we move through the process of any complaint, we encourage participation by all involved persons. This will help us investigate all avenues presented so we may have a correct resolution to the matter of concern. The Professional Standards Investigations section will, throughout the entire process, be transparent with all available information when given to the Sheriff to decide what action should be taken.
