- Civilian entry level position
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work any shift assigned, current assignments are 0600-1800 hours or 1800-0600 hours with a Panama schedule rotation with every other weekend off.
Responsible for receiving emergency (911) and non-emergency calls from unincorporated Clay County and designated municipalities:
- Receive and answer requests from various agencies to retrieve information reference wants, warrants, stolen property, registration, and criminal history.
- Enters and updates warrants and ex-partes as needed.
- Monitors and dispatches appropriate personnel to various county alarms.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to type with speed and accuracy. Knowledge of street system and geography of the county and adjacent areas helpful.
Starting Salary: $55,000 yearly plus benefits.
