An autopsy has confirmed that a man found dead in an apparent homeless camp on March 3, 2022, died from natural causes.
Deputies responded to a homeless encampment near I-435 and Randolph Road the afternoon of March 3. They located 52-year-old Jason Lawver deceased. Lawver had been reported missing in Parkville, Mo., on Jan. 26, 2022. The initial investigation showed no signs of foul play.
Investigators got the autopsy and toxicology results back in Lawver’s death in early May. His death was ruled natural causes and was the result of heart disease. The investigation is now closed.
