ORIGINAL
After a nationwide spike in thefts of Kia and Hyundai vehicles, the automotive companies have provided the Clay County Sheriff’s Office with steering wheel locks to distribute for free to owners of the affected vehicles.
The locks are available to Clay County residents who own one of the below listed vehicles. Residents can pick up the locks from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the CCW Office, located at 27 S. Main St. in Liberty, Mo. You will need to provide proof of ownership of the vehicle and proof of Clay County residency.
